Implementation Plan
This plan will improve the medical and nursing professions' ability to recognize, manage and prevent pesticide-related health conditions. Through a three-prong strategy, the Implementation Plan will reach health care professionals: through formal education (i.e. medical schools, nursing schools, residency and practicum programs); practice settings (i.e. clinics, hospitals); and through quality resources and tools. The Plan makes a strong case for changing educational and practice settings to include environmental health education as an important part of responsible, superior quality health care.
