The National Environmental Education Foundation is proud of its history of strong and effective partnerships with its sponsors, such as Toyota Motor Sales, USA. Toyota has been the title sponsor of National Public Lands Day for nine years. The annual volunteer event for America’s public lands attracts more than 100,000 volunteers to over 1,150 public parks, monuments, wildlife refuges, forests, sanctuaries, lakes, and reservoirs.
Through this partnership Toyota is able to demonstrate environmental stewardship through employees gathering at worksites throughout the country to lend a hand to our public lands. Toyota volunteers, family and friends build trails and bridges, remove invasive plants, clear debris and trash, as well as numerous other projects.
In addition to being partners in our efforts, our sponsors are connected to the many NGO’s and public agencies we work with—from federal agencies to state and county departments.
